Message Board Trouble Shooting

Problems Registering
NOTE: We have three different message boards. You must register for each board that you want to use: Recruit Parents, Boot Parents, and/or Marine Parents.
- I have clicked on the "Agree" button of the Privacy Statement and it just keeps bringing me back to the Privacy Statement. How do I actually register?
If you are behind a security firewall, either software or hardware, the restrictions may not allow you to get beyond the agreement page. You can temporarily disable the firewall, or even easier still, send us your information and we'll get an account set up for you. Use the form at the bottom of this page. [Click here to go to Form]
- I've successfully registered, but I have not received the notification email to activate my account.
Most often what happens here is that there was a typo in your email account. Use the form below to send us your user name and email address that you used to setup the account, and we'll make whatever correction is necessary, then administratively activate your registration. - I've received the notification email, but I can't click on the link.

- I'm trying to register but it says my email account is already in use.
Most likely the account that you registered has not yet been activated correctly. Use the form below to send us your user name and email address and we'll try to resolve the problem. [Click here to go to Form]
Changing Your User Name
To change your user name (if you inadvertantly used a last name as part of your user name for instance) use the form below, and be sure to note in the comment field that you want to change your user name and indicate what the NEW user name should be. Put your original user name in the field "User/Login Name" (this will help us find your current account more quickly).
Once your user name has been changed, we will send you an email. You will then need to login using the NEW user name.
Problems Logging In
- I've registered and received the email, but I still can't get logged in.
The most likely culprit here is a typo, caps lock, or not using the EXACT user name and password that you chose for yourself. Here are some tips:
- Check for a typographical error, spelling error, or capitalization error with your user name AND password.
- Turn off the caps lock on your keyboard. (Also check your number lock feature if you are using numbers.)
- Both the user name and the password are case sensitive. That means if you registered the user name "LIttleJo", then you will need to use the exact same capitalization.
- If you used TWO (or more) words for your user name and you put a space between the words, i.e. "Little John", then you must login with a space between the words.

- I can't remember my user name and/or password.
- If you've already posted on the message board, your user name is to the left of your post.
- If you have not posted on the message board, use the form below to contact us. Be sure to use the email address that you entered when you registered your account so we can identify your registration.
- You can change your own password. Use the link for the message board you want to resend or reset your password:
- If that still doesn't work, we can change your password for you. Use the form below and a volunteer will contact you when the password has been reset. Be sure to use the email address that you entered when you registered your account so we can identify your registration.
