This is the list of Marines Deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, Haiti and other defense locations in support of OIF, OEF, and now Haiti. This list serves two purposes; the first for Marine Moms and Marine Dads to communicate with each other and share when any of us hear news from one of our sons or daughters in the Persian Gulf Region. The second is for prayers; please come back and print the list frequently to share with friends and family for prayers.
Each one of the names on the list has parents that feel the same way I do; the same way you do. The uncertainty of what is to come brings emotions and feelings that none of us thought would be part of our lives. But we have them, and so do thousands of other parents, and this is a place to come and meet other parents to share with. You are not alone. Other Marine parents understand your pain and worry; we're feeling it too.

The list details several bits of identifying information that may help you to find a Marine parent that is near your town, or someone with a son or daughter that is stationed with your Marine, or that went to bootcamp together. For me personally, each of these names and emails that I receive brings emotions of pride and uncertainty and sadness. Each parent has written a few sentences about their Marine, and each is special and loved. Each Marine is somebody's son or daughter worthy of our respect, our pride, our devotion, and our never-ending streams of support, love, and prayers.
